A choice of efficient engines

The Mazda MX-5 is available in a choice of two direct-injection petrol engines: the 1.5 Skyactiv-G, boasting 132ps of power, and then 2.0 Skyactiv-G, offering an impressive 184ps. Both engines deliver outstanding performance coupled with excellent fuel efficiency.

Asymmetric Limited Slip Differential

As standard on 184ps Exclusive-Line and Homura models, Asymmetric Limited Slip Differential improves traction and handling by distributing torque between the rear wheels. When one wheel loses grip, the power shifts to the other to improve traction and enhance stability during acceleration or cornering.
